RUSH Newstream is a nonpartisan news aggregation platform that collects, organizes, and analyzes news content from a wide range of publishers and social media sources. RUSH uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to grade articles for headline accuracy, honesty, bias, influence, and coverage completeness, and to summarize stories and surface related coverage from multiple outlets. RUSH does not produce original news reporting and is not itself a news publisher.
You must be at least 13 years old to use RUSH and at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using RUSH you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
You can use most of RUSH without an account. Some features (such as posting comments and upvoting events) require you to create one.
The Service presents three broad categories of content:
You retain ownership of the content you post on RUSH. When you post a comment or other contribution, you grant RUSH a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, modify (for formatting purposes), and make available your content as part of the Service. This license is necessary for us to operate the Service. The license ends when your content is removed from the Service, except that we may retain backup copies for a reasonable period and may retain content removed for violation of these Terms as required for our records or legal obligations.
You agree not to post content or use the Service to:
We may, but are not obligated to, review, edit, or remove user content. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we judge in our reasonable discretion to be harmful to RUSH or its users. We are not responsible for user content posted on the Service. If you believe content violates these Terms, contact us at the address in section 17.
RUSH links to articles on third-party publisher websites and to other third-party services. Those links are provided for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, or their policies. Your interactions with third-party publishers are between you and the publisher and are governed by their terms and privacy policies. The presence of an article on RUSH is not an endorsement by RUSH of the publisher or the article's content. Similarly, the publisher does not endorse RUSH unless explicitly stated.
RUSH uses external bias-rating services — AllSides, Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC), and Ad Fontes Media — to inform outlet-level bias indicators. Those ratings are produced by third parties under their own methodologies; RUSH attributes them to their source and does not independently verify them. AI-generated grades and summaries may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations and should not be relied on as a substitute for reading the underlying article. RUSH disclaims responsibility for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
RUSH and its design, code, layout, branding, logos, AI prompts, and proprietary databases are owned by RUSH or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service or its components, except for content you yourself have posted and except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law. The RUSH name, the "News Without Spin" tagline, and the RUSH Newstream logo are trademarks of RUSH Newstream.
If you believe content on RUSH infringes your copyright, send a notice including the information required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to dmca@rushnewstream.com. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.
Use of RUSH is currently free of charge. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, the price, billing cycle, and any free-trial terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase, and your continued use of paid features will be subject to the additional terms presented at that time.
Payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. Refund policies for paid features, if any, will be disclosed at purchase. Recurring subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
We aim to keep RUSH available and operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts of the Service without notice or liability.
You may stop using RUSH at any time and may delete your account through our contact channel (see section 17). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing your access poses a risk to RUSH or its users. Upon termination:
RUSH does not warrant that the content presented on the Service, including AI-generated grades and summaries, is accurate, current, or free from error. RUSH does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RUSH and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) any content you post on RUSH.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You and RUSH agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, you and RUSH each waive any right to a jury trial.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the unauthorized use or misuse of intellectual property or confidential information.
